VITA volunteers do more than prepare taxes –
they empower neighbors, reduce stress, and put money back into the pockets of those who need it most.
The following volunteer roles are available for community members to join our VITA program to help our neighbors file their taxes at no cost.
Tax Preparer – Training Available
Learn a valuable life skill and make a difference in the lives of others in our community by preparing income tax returns free of charge. Receive free IRS training, certification, and materials.
Reviewer – Training Available
Tax prep experience is required for this role.
Greeter – No Experience Needed
Just bring your smile and a friendly attitude.
