What is Financial Literacy?

Financial literacy is having a foundation built on learning the importance of money. Understanding budgeting and personal financial management is connected to one’s finances and building a lifelong relationship. Financial literacy includes knowing how an economic decision made today can impact your financial stability in the future.

We’re working to help individuals and families in our community to get on a path towards financial empowerment. That starts with access to services, job training, job coaching, credit counseling and money management programs.
