COVID-19: Coronovirus Updates

United Way of Lake & Sumter Counties understands this is a trying time for everyone.  It is a time with mis-information & uncertainty for many of our families.  We will strive to continue to keep accurate information as it is continually changing.  We are working with our Community Partners to ensure we have the resources to help those most affected in our area.  United Way of Lake & Sumter Counties has established a fund to support Lake & Sumter residents whose financial stability is being impacted by the economic consequences of COVID-19/Coronavirus. UWLS has made an initial investment of $10,000 to seed the fund, but is seeking financial support to aid as many families as possible. The focus of the fund is to support the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) population experiencing hardship due to decreased hours or unpaid leave. Over 40% of our Lake & Sumter residence are ALICE, living paycheck to paycheck, so we need your help.  If you are able to help, please donate now.
