Carolyn was behind on rent for two months due to unforeseen circumstances.
She lost her spouse in 2022 and tried working multiple jobs, but due to health concerns, could only allowed work part time.
Carolyn said Keia (Wilson, Case Manager) was polite, understanding, and courteous when she reached out to United Way. UWLS’ Family Stability Services provided assistance to help Carolyn catch up on rent and utilities.
Keia also provided Carolyn with one-on-one case management and reviewed all her monthly bills, providing a plan to help her maintain her monthly budget.
She was also referred to an organization that placed her with better job with more hours.
UWLS is so happy to have helped Carolyn get on the path to success!
